Exhibition

When I was at elementary school, I and my classmates visited an exhibition that was held at the city hall. Since it was our first time, we were so excited to drop in every booth. We read all the information on the displays and listened the explanation carefully. We also took every quiz that was provided. Luckily, I won the first prize and I got a sum of money. Well, since then, I love to visit the exhibition.

What Happens in Vegas?

My on-line friend told me that he and his buddies had a trip to Sin City on their last vacation. And from the pictures that I have seen on his blog, he surely had a very great time there. Party and party!

More over there are Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz playing there. The story is about two strangers, Kutcher and Diaz who meet by chance in Las Vegas and after party and drink together all night long, they end up getting married. But in the morning they realize it was a mistake and decide to divorce. One of them winning a huge jackpot after playing the other's quarter, and the ownership of which comes into question. They take it to the court and the judge freezes the money and decides that they should remain married for 6 months and attend counseling sessions. What happen next? Oo you should watch it..ha..ha..

Unforgettable Rendezvous

I met my old buddy when I was shopping at the mall. She is still single and it seems that she won’t get married in the short time because now she is really enjoying her single life and career. Then we continued our chat while we shopped together. She bought a pair of shoes and I bought some food and milk for children (what a contrast!..ha..ha). After had the rendezvous dinner until night, finally it was time to go home. She gave the CITI credit card to the waiter but not in minutes he came back and told her that the card was cannot be used, then she gave him another card and it was also the same. I was quite a panic, but she whispered to me “don’t worry I still have other cards” while she was giving her AMEX Corporate Credit Card to the waiter. Luckily it worked and we didn’t need to wash the dirty dishes that night ... haha..

While we were walking to the parking, I asked her why she has so many cards. She only said “just in case…” and smiled. Well, I only have one card and I’m rarely using it. New Lamps

When I wanted to buy some new lamps for my living room, suddenly I remembered about my table lamp that I had bought years ago. I bought it long before I got married and when I found that lamp, I thought it would be perfect for my own future house. Now I already have my own house so that I have to find that lamp. I forgot where I put it, but I was sure it was at somewhere in my mom’s house. Finally I found it and when I brought it home, I noticed that it doesn’t match with my living room, well, its color is orange and the wall is red.. hmm.. anyway, I brought it to my bed room and I was so happy to find out that it’s perfect for it. But suddenly, I remember that there isn’t any table in my bedroom.. Ugh! Where should I put it anyway? Guys, I think I should back to plan A, buy some new lamps.. ha..ha..

Anyway, according to my experience, buying lamps is not that easy, and for the next time I should determine what kind of lamp that I will need, are they table lamps, floor lamps, desk lamps or torchieres. Well, whatever it is, the most important is it should compatible with the room.

My Mom And Rugs

My mom loves Rugs very much and she has many rugs with various motive and shape at her home. She bought most of them when she went abroad and lucky her, when her brother still lived at Jeddah, Saudi of Arabia, he always sent her beautiful rugs every time my mom asked for. She is very carefully in choosing the rugs’ motive and color before she put them at any room. She said that rugs can change the mood and the character of a room and a perfect rug is that harmonizes with the room decoration and brings everything together.
My favorite one is the wide maroon Persian rug in the living room. I still remember how cozy and warm it was. I love to lie down on it with head on a large cushion while I was watching my favorite movie or just reading my favorite novel. Oh, it was my favorite time ever. When I got married and move to my new house, there was no furniture at the living room and my mom lent me one of her favorite rug. Now it has been years and the rug is still on my living room.
